The Project
We are proud to have worked on police vehicle conversions for Warwickshire and West Mercia police. This continues our 24-year working relationship supporting the UK emergency services providing general purpose conversions to more specialist vehicles. The client required police conversions for 68 Vauxhall Astras.
Listening to our customers has been key to our success in this sector. From the initial requirement gathering meeting through to the build, our team set to understand the needs of the client. We worked with the customer to ensure the conversion was completed to their exact specification. This included providing additional expertise and consultancy to help solve the customer’s problems.
We are a one-stop shop for our client, showing versatility and expertise with each vehicle model. Our engineers have completed technical electric/hybrid training which meant we were able to deal with the additional complexities of electric vehicle conversions.
We are the ideal partner for police forces in the UK because of our relationships with our supply chain. We establish good links with OEMs and manufacturers, allowing us to receive regular training on products. This level of communication allows us to give suppliers feedback for future product improvements and results in us gaining early access to new product developments.
Capacity
Capacity was not an issue for us, as we utilised our Coleshill HQ workshop for this project. The team of in-house engineers worked hand in hand with our scheduling department, keeping the customer informed at every stage.
