DVS Compliance

The company originally contacted RS Connect to ensure their fleet was Direct Vision Standard (DVS) compliant when working in Greater London. After an initial conversation with the team, they decided to not only get their fleet DVS ready but also upgrade to FORS Silver.

FORS Silver Requirements

The Silver Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) level requires fleet operators to fit HGVs with enhanced safety equipment to monitor blind spots, fuel usage, distance travelled, fleet management and telematics and demonstrate all this to the scheme. All this helps to protect vulnerable road users where ever their courier service takes them.
