Telematics installer

IMI Level 3 Vehicle Damage Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician.

RS Connect are an IMI Approved Centre. We’ll provide quality approved training to get you on your way to qualified engineer status.

As an Apprentice Engineer, you will be working with a range of vehicle types, installing and servicing telematics and other electronic devices including cameras, parking sensors, GPS and audio systems. Our hybrid learning system means you’ll gain a thorough theoretical foundation in vehicles and damage, and a hands on learning experience within auto-electrical and trim.

You will be assigned a Mentor who is a qualified and experienced engineer who will guide and train you. You will be working on vehicles at a range of locations including commercial premises, business depots, dealerships and customer homes.

Bespoke Training 

RS Academy offers a wonderful chance to learn from experienced engineers and experts, allowing you to benefit greatly from their knowledge. Throughout your time here, a qualified and experienced engineer will be assigned to you as your mentor, providing guidance and training. The Academy boasts a variety of learning opportunities, including workshops, testing areas, classrooms, and online resources.
